How an evening looks like?
Once sitting in the cosy living room, the evening starts with a traditional welcome drink, while having some chats to get to know your fellow diners. Then, everybody settle in around the dining table to enjoy a traditional 3-course Hungarian meal, paired with carefully selected local wines.
Beside enjoying the dinner’s culinary side, you’ll be introduced to our country’s gastronomy, history and culture throughout the evening. And of course, should you wish to know anything about Hungary, I’ll be more than happy to reveal any secrets about our country, so get your questions ready.
Concerning the payment, we kindly ask you to settle the bill in cash after the dinner. The price is 45€/person.

Every story has a start
It all started a few years ago, when finding an interesting, gastronomy-related job seemed too much to ask for on the Hungarian job market. So, after months of useless searching (and silly job interviews), I conceded, and created that “interesting job” myself – so, problem solved. This is how our restaurant was born in January 2015, in big part thanks to my parents’ priceless support and belief in my idea.
Fast-forward a few years and/By now our place has become an iconic one for those in search of a special dinner experience; it’s listed in guides like that of Rick Steves’s and awarded by the Luxury Travel Guide, yet/but still, the atmosphere remains as laid-back and friendly as ever.
In my humble opinion, there’s so much to feel lucky for and to be proud of being Hungarian. I nurture an infinite love towards the exquisite cuisine, the unique language, the rich culture and the adventurous history of my homeland, Hungary. And my wish with our dinners is to share my love, passion and knowledge with people visiting our country, by introducing our cuisine and traditions while enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal accompanied by excellent local wines.
